Business & Startup Experience
Co-Founder, Zero Point Frontiers Corp.
In 2008, I co-founded Zero Point Frontiers Corp. Over the next four years, I helped to build ZPFC into an aerospace and defense small business with 15 employees and over $1M in annual revenue. During this time, ZPFC was providing concept development expertise , strategic input, and decision support to key decision makers and executives on a variety of civil, defense, and commercial programs.
I was heavily involved in business operations and new business development. As Chief Financial officer (CFO) and Director of Business Operations, I developed and implemented procedures and systems relating to accounting, contracting, human resources, and information systems/technology. I created corporate color schemes, symbols, and branding. I established and maintained an auditable corporate rate structure for government and private contracting.
As Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and Director of Future Applications, I developed and implemented all procedures and systems relating to business development and internal research and development, including pilot programs in iOS application development and podcasting. I led the corporate initiative for the use of iPads in the workplace, rolling out devices to all employees and working to integrate them into various corporate workflows, including green initiatives with NASA to reduce cost and waste of hard copy reports.
My ownership in ZPFC was sold to my business partners in April 2012.

As the company took on propulsion hardware development work for both government (the NASA Ares Launch Vehicle) and commerical (Bigelow Aerospace Forward Propulsion System) customers. I analyzed corporate financial performance in support of key decisions relating to facilities, benefits, hiring and capital expenditures. OPI was purchased by Dynetics in 2009.
